Coaxial multiplexer for automatic measurement of AC current
Boštík, Ondřej ; Klusáček, Stanislav (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
Master’s thesis in the theoretical part deals with literature review on the topic of measurement errors and measurement uncertainties. The practical part deals with the simulation of additional capacitive and resistive load on the amplitude and phase error during shunts based measurement. For this simulation is used mathematical apparatus of cascade matrix of two-ports and their connections. For the actual simulation is used script for MATLAB. Furthermore, the work deals with the design of voltage follower to eliminate simulated errors and its practical realization. The last part deals with the design of the coaxial multiplexer for switching current shunts developed in the Czech Metrological Institute in Brno.
The expression of the accuracy of the gauge and measurement
Svobodová, Helena ; Koška, Petr (referee) ; Pernikář, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of measurement, accuracy of measuring instruments and their expressing. It outlines the legislative basis of metrology in the Czech Republic and interprets the definitions of basic terms used in metrology. These definitions are listed in the new edition of International dictionary of metrology (VIM 3:2007). It specifies and exemplifies measurement errors and presents possibilities of their elimination. Further, it describes a simple way of measurement uncertainty determination. The aim of this thesis is to explain the issue in a way that it is understandable and can be applicable for the common metrology practice.
Gas flow measurement
Slováček, Antonín ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis brings a description and realization of new measuring devices which are designed to support student´s laboratory practice of air flow measurement techniques. The new devices and laboratory exercises help students get experience of several methods of measuring which they get to know during mandatory Bachelor's and Master's study programmes. The paper also includes a theoretical background, the knowledge of which is necessary for mastering the issue. Moreover, the paper comprises a literary search of sensors and a market research. The second part of the thesis presents possibilities of the laboratory workplace, and the results of the measurements of the new laboratory devices used for sample laboratory exercises.
Measurement uncertainties determined by the Monte Carlo method
Krejčí, Roman ; Havlíková, Marie (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the determination of the uncertainties of direct and indirect measurements. It focused on the uncertainty calculation by Monte Carlo method and GUM uncertainty framework. The practical part deals with the determination of uncertainties indirect measurement of resistance Ohm’s method. The calculated uncertainties are compared on the basis of the influence of the method, accuracy used devices and the temperature.
Comparison of different temperature sensors accuracy
Szotkowski, Radek ; Šimonová, Lucie (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with precise temperature measurument using various temperature sensors thermometers. Resistive temperature sensors, thermocouples and measurument uncertainty are studied. In practical part are mathematically and graphically presented results of measuring in three temperature points. Emphasis is placed on the accuracy of individual temperature sensors. The thesis also includes a laboratory task created for subject matters dealing with diagnosis.
Evaluation System of Thermal Condition Environment and his Measurement Uncertainties Analyze
Košíková, Jana ; Němeček, Pavel (referee) ; Kureková, Eva (referee) ; Vdoleček, František (advisor)
The Ph.D. thesis deals with the evaluation of indoor thermal environment in which people are located. A great attention is paid to the thermal comfort. If a person in a given environment does not feel well, then makes mistakes. Thermal comfort is created many parameters that can be monitored and managed. These parameters include not only temperature but also other parameters such as the mean radiant temperature, operative temperature, humidity and air velocity and the draft. All these parameters can be measured. The standard ČSN EN ISO 7726 is written how and what the parameters are measured. Furthermore, this standard provides requirements for measuring equipment. There are many professional measuring devices. Unfortunately, these devices are very expensive. Therefore are within the project GACR 101/09/H050 - Research on energy- saving equipment to achieve the quality of the indoor environment at our faculty developed sensors for thermal comfort, which have showed comparable accuracy measurements as a professional , but it will be cheaper than professional. Knowledge of real parameters of the developed sensor thermal comfort environment is important, as with any other measurement devices, and also need to verified whether it has the required accuracy. In order to objectively sensors testing were developed two chambers - the testing and calibration chamber. The developed sensors were tested both in the open laboratory, and also in the test chamber. Then uncertainties measurement were calculated from the results of measurements This work deals with the evaluation of thermal comfort, the measurement of parameters of thermal environment, the evaluating the results of measurements and determining the measurement uncertainty of the sensors. In this thesis, based on these results, were recommended suitable sensors for measuring various parameters environment.
Analysis verification monostable moment longitudinal steering linkage
Novotný, Petr ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Pernikář, Jiří (advisor)
Work smoothing - out evaluation accuracy of measurement monostable moment steering linkage by the help of special machine. Evaluates individual characteristics accuracy, especially uncertainty metering.
Evaluation of control processes
Šimák, Martin ; Koška, Petr (referee) ; Pernikář, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis studies the theory of evaluation of control processes. The first part of the thesis discusses about organization of national legislation and metrology legislation. The next part of the study focuses on metrology terms, theory introduction to measurement uncertainty and their expression. The final section of the thesis is devoted to statistic evaluation of processes.
Measurement Uncertainties Analyze in Gas Industry
Dominik, Jan ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Vdoleček, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is tackling measurement uncertainty problems with gas metering. It is specially focusing on a new prototype gross heating value indicator, which was tested directly on the pipeline. This measurement results are compare with standard volumetric flow indicator and determined measurement uncertainty for the distribution partners.
Minimizing errors in the alignment of the CAD model to the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
Miko, Jan ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of alignment of measured data to nominal data in the field of metrology - measurement and evaluation of longitudinal dimensions, angles and tolerances of position and shape. The beginning of the work deals with the division of individual types of coordinate measuring machines and various data scanning technologies. The next section describes the measurement process, and especially in what ways the mea-surement can be performed. In the analysis of the use of methods for the alignment of nomi-nal data on a CAD model when measuring on a CMM, the individual methods of alignment are classified and described. The most common defects caused by alignment to a CAD mo-del are covered in the entire chapter, which describes what causes individual defects in most cases. The main part of the bachelor thesis is the study of measurements. In this study, the evaluation of outputs that were obtained after measuring and balancing the measured data on the CAD model of the reference part is processed. The alignment is performed by four diffe-rent methods. Subsequently, the individual methods were compared and the errors that occurred during the alignment were analyzed. In the last part of the work, a statistical evalu-ation of the measurement and determination of the measurement uncertainty is performed on the basis of the measured deviations of the positions of the assessed geometric elements, which occurred on the reference part. At the end of the thesis, the individual outputs that were obtained during the elaboration of the individual goals of the bachelor's thesis and the recommended methods of alignment for a specific application are evaluated.
